We invite you to relax and replenish in comfort, surrounded by the healing and restorative power of nature.
Our retreat-home and property is comprised of 33 acres with over 1,600 feet of private shoreline on Cade Lake. We are also adjacent to hundreds of acres of crown land, which ensures a quiet and secluded wilderness – like setting and experience for you. Though so exquisitely secluded, Maple Ki is very accessible.
We are ideally located half way between Hwy. # 401 and Hwy.# 7, near the quaint village of Tamworth.
A picturesque long lane winds its way among mighty oaks and towering white pines and maples to our retreat-haven nestled amidst the sheltering trees, on the shores of peaceful Cade Lake.
This deep clean lake is part of the Salmon River Watershed and is traversed only by canoe or kayak, making it free of motorized boats. This gives you the rare opportunity to experience privacy and tranquility while exploring the river by canoe/kayak or while enjoying a refreshing swim in the lake.

Inside the retreat, you’ll find inviting indoor spaces that are open and light yet warm and cosy. The expansive and stunning view of the lake and surrounding forest, will take your breath away.
Indoor features also include plenty of natural light, a soaring pine cathedral ceiling and a magnificent floor to ceiling masonry wood – fired heater. This European designed fireplace was aptly named by one of our guests as the ” Healing, Heating Wall.” Imagine sitting on the comfortable bench at this heated wall on a chilly day, with all of your back resting and supported by the hot bricks. Warmth penetrates your body with powerful infrared healing energy. During the colder months this is a cherished place to read and meditate, or watch the birds at the feeder outside, and the everchanging scenic beauty of an autumn or winter landscape.
Beautiful hardwood floors, colourful hand braided rugs, cozy quilts, and many interesting collectibles create a peaceful, soothing ambiance.

Our clean, cozy, comfortable rooms and beds beckon a contented, peaceful slumber.
We offer 4 light-filled, restful bedrooms that are supplied with a fan, linens, European duvets, cozy blankets, bath towels and bath robes. The cleanliness of our retreat-home and providing you with comfort, kindness and quality service is of utmost importance to us.
The 4 bedrooms share 2.5 bathrooms (2 full baths plus 1 powder room) providing ample amenities for all.
We can accommodate single, double, and (in one room only) triple occupancy per room.
Single or Queen sized beds are available.
